We are a purpose built canine hydrotherapy centre with a 4.4m x 2.6m x 1.2m deep sanitised, heated pool, which is kept between 28-31oc. We test the quality of our pool water 3 times a day maintaining cleanliness, ensuring that it is the best that it can be and a microbiological test is carried out once a month.
It has a strengthened, therapeutic, non-slip, built-in ramp, which has resting platforms to enable our clients to enter and exit the pool in a calm, controlled and safe manner whilst assisted by our hydrotherapist at all times.
We have an underwater camera so that you can watch your dog's progression in the session from both above and below the water.
We have a large, bright, well-equipped wet room area, where we use a thermostatically controlled shower for hygiene purposes and to warm up the muscles before entering the pool and after the session to clean the chlorine from the dogs coats. It is also used for therapeutic purposes where needed. We do not shampoo your dog so as not to cause skin irritation, but if you would like us to, we would ask that you bring your dogs own products.
We will towel dry your dog after its session and supply all towels, so there is no need for you to bring one with you, but we would ask that you bring some type of coat for your dog, so that it can be kept warm when leaving the centre and on its journey home.
